Schools
Come join Dave for a two weekend, life changing event. The DR Ranch is the venue for 4-1/2 days as Dave leads you to a higher level of understanding and communication with your horse. What you will learn in our school will permanently and positively change the way you deal with your horse, and every horse you come in contact with thereafter. You will not only benefit from the group lessons, but will receive personal instruction from Dave.
At the end of the school, you will head home with a new, enriched concept of how to communicate with your horse and establish a relationship of respect and understanding. You will have the confidence to take your horse/horses to new levels in a safe and practical manner. Simply said, you will get results in a mutually rewarding fashion with your horse. The number of participants in each school is limited to ensure an ideal learning experience. Each school is tailored to the level of experience of the participants.
Note: If you are not completely satisfied with your experience at completion of the school, Dave will gladly refund your money with no questions asked. In our school history we have never been asked for a refund.
Our schools cost $600.00 per participant which includes meals, a stall for your horse, and the use of JRH horses in varying segments of the school. We provide alfalfa pellets for your horse, so if you feed anything different, we require that you supply your own feed. To reserve a spot we ask that you put down a deposit of half the total fee at the time your spot is booked. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the school start date. Deposits are non refundable, but can be applied toward a school at a future date.
To protect the safety of our participants and their horses we do not allow studs/stallions in our schools. If you do not have a mare or gelding to bring, we do have horses for rent.
Discounts are available to return riders, and horse training customers. Also, we supply the dogs, so please leave yours at home.
Please remember that Dave does not offer a beginners course at this time. You must be able to walk, trot and canter on a loose rein to qualify for the school.
It all starts on Friday evening at 6:00P.M. with a kick-off barbeque. Dave will start the school with an orientation and introductions. Below is a schedule of upcoming schools.

To reserve your spot at our next open school, please call us at 480-214-3642. Due to Daves personal instruction, spots are limited and are first come first serve.
