Horse Training
If you want your horse developed into a safe, responsive and willing partner, but dont have the time or confidence to do the training yourself-having them trained the Just Right way at our DR Ranch in Gilbert Arizona may be just the choice for you. Whether you have a problem horse, unbroken colt, or a horse you need to advance, we take the same approach. Each and every horse progresses through our segmented training program described under the tab (Our Program). This is a boot camp training program that adheres to our emphasis on Safety, Trust, Respect, Confidence and Results.

What will my horse learn?
Consistent with our practical approach to training, we determine your level of experience, confidence, and expectations as well as perform an evaluation of your horses equineality, disposition, and potential. Hopefully we determine theres a good fit, from which we agree on a timeframe to accomplish the training desired. We take your horse through our sequence of training levels ,(Refer to Our Program tab for level descriptions) to the agreed upon level of training. What we dont do is take your horse through months of training knowing full well that things probably wont work out when you get your horse back.
How long will my horse be in training?
The minimum training period is 8 weeks, but as we mentioned above, after we make our evaluation, we agree on a realistic training period to achieve the desired level of training/segment. A the end of the training period you are required to either take a private review session at a cost of $200.00, or attend (at a discounted cost) our next available School. We highly recommend the school option, however either way, we want to send you home understanding the training process and foundation that has been laid in your horses training. We want you and your horse to succeed when you get home.
How much does training cost?
Our training services are $125 per week which includes feed and board (6 training days per week with 1 day off). Each horse is given individual attention each day of approximately 11/2 hours. Any days missed due to inclement weather etc., are prorated to reflect a board charge only. Incidental expenses, including deworming, hoof trimming, vet, etc., will be at the owner's expense.
